- The Filter Kings have opened for Blues Traveler, Blue Oyster Cult, Rick Springfield, James Cotton, Marcia Ball, Omar and the Howlers, Rik Emmett, Peter Frampton and The Fabulous Thunderbirds
- They are completing their debut CD which will feature 11 of their original tracks
- Cave Wilson also performs with The Scott Celani Band and The Corrections

- Current line-up has essentially been working together for 25 years as they were members of Kixx –Winners of a BMA for “Classic Rock Band” in 1988
- Phil formed Wanted by the FBI in 2001 with three other musicians. In 2007 Joe and Brian, former Kixx members, joined the band
- In 2007 they released two CDs and a DVD in 2008. Currently their music is played in 127 different countries
- In 2008 their song “It Takes a War” was #2 on Indie Radio for that year.
- They have opened for the Outlaws, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Guitar Shorty, Rik Emmett and Savoy Brown

- In 2005 the band won The Muddy Award, from Blues Beat, as the “Most Promising Local New Talent”

- Recordings “Cheat’n Man” and Happy You’re Mine”, receive frequent airplay on WBFO
- Going forward the focus of the band will include blues and bring in an array of R&B and Funk
- Working on a new recording project of original tunes with a big band swing blues to R&B traditional sounds
