  • Performed at special events such as: Mercy Flight Benefit in 2008, Taste of Tonawanda in 2008 and 2009, Taste of Buffalo in 2009, Agri-Center, at the Hamburg Fair Grounds, in 2009, Hog Holiday Bike Show & B.B.Q in 2008 and 2010, and Buffalo Big Beat in 2008 and 2009
  • Recorded a promotional CD with plans to start recording their original material in late 2011

  • Formed in 2000 the Filter Kings perform a blend of rock, blues and a splash of funk
  • In 2001 Mark placed 2nd in the North American Rock Guitar Competition during the First Annual WNED Buffalo Niagara Guitar Festival
  • The Filter Kings have opened for Blues Traveler, Blue Oyster Cult, Rick Springfield, James Cotton, Marcia Ball, Omar and the Howlers, Rik Emmett, Peter Frampton and The Fabulous Thunderbirds
  • They are completing their debut CD which will feature 11 of their original tracks
  • Cave Wilson also performs with The Scott Celani Band and The Corrections

  • For the past 13 years they have performed every Thursday and Sunday at the Tudor Lounge
  • Have toured the eastern United States for each of the past 12 years
  • Released 5 CDs “Jony James Band”, “Something’s Never Change”, Live at the Tudor”, In this World” and What about Tomorrow”
  • Mike also performs solo projects, Genkin Orchestra, Forever Young and Ruhburb

  • Current line-up has essentially been working together for 25 years as they were members of Kixx –Winners of a BMA for “Classic Rock Band” in 1988
  • Phil formed Wanted by the FBI in 2001 with three other musicians. In 2007 Joe and Brian, former Kixx members, joined the band
  • In 2007 they released two CDs and a DVD in 2008. Currently their music is played in 127 different countries
  • In 2008 their song “It Takes a War” was #2 on Indie Radio for that year.
  • They have opened for the Outlaws, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Guitar Shorty, Rik Emmett and Savoy Brown

  • Opened for several national acts including: Devon Allmans Honeytribe, Tab Benoit, Leon Russell, Les Dudek, Joe Bonamassa and more

  • Has released 10 albums with guest artists including Stan Szelest, James Cotton, Larry Cheely, Tim LaFik, Jimmy Wozniak, Chris Beard and many other top area musicians

  • In 1999, after a ten year hiatus from the music scene, Kate started performing blues and formed her own band in 2002
  • They have released two CDs “Sneaking Out the Back Door” with The Buddy Hinds Band and Kate in 2001 and “ Breakin all the Rules” by the Kate Engler Band. That CD featured Dave Schmeidler on guitar
  • In 2005 the band won The Muddy Award, from Blues Beat, as the “Most Promising Local  New Talent”
  • Kate has won “Top Blues Female Vocalist” BMA  in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009

  • Patti traveled to Ohio and was guest vocalist for Blue Lunch and Taz Cru
  • Recordings “Cheat’n Man” and  Happy You’re Mine”, receive frequent airplay on WBFO
  • Going forward the focus of the band will include blues and bring in an array of R&B and Funk
  • Working on a new recording project of original tunes with a big band swing blues to R&B traditional  sounds
